Our Cremation Packages

To help make your decision easier, we’ve created four (4) commonly selected direct cremation packages. The total cremation prices and an itemization of the services/merchandise included in the particular packages are described below. Please note that the $1,462.00 basic fee advertised on our site’s main page is ALREADY INCLUDED in these packages!
 
What ISN’T included? Death certificates ($15.00 per copy in New York City; $10.00 in N.Y.S), permit fees, medical examiner fees and special services like an additional $195.00 for any death that occurs in a residence, nursing home or hospice facility, same-day cremation service or other special handling of the cremated remains. Based on our 70 years of direct cremation experience, the packages we’ve created will address the needs of 95% of client families.

A Breakdown Of Our Affordable Cremation Pricing & Packages

Our Basic Direct Cremation Costs & Packages $2,395

This basic package offers families a very affordable way to provide a loved one with excellent cremation care without incurring seemingly unnecessary expense. Please note that this option does not include a visitation or memorial service for the deceased which for some is an important step in the healing process, so it is something to consider when choosing a cremation package. For those who may be concerned with the cost of cremation, this may be the ideal choice. This Package Includes:
  • Transfer from the place of death to the funeral home within New York’s five boroughs, Nassau and Western Suffolk. 
  • Basic services of the funeral director and staff, filing necessary authorizations, securing the death certificate and obtaining certified copies
  • Service vehicle to the crematory
  • Cardboard alternative container (Items 1-4 total $1,835.00)
  • Crematory charges (L. I. Cremation Co. W. Babylon, N.Y. $560.00)

If you select another crematory, the charges will be adjusted accordingly. The cremated remains will be returned to the funeral home where they can be claimed by a family member or other authorized person.

Our Basic Direct Cremation Package PLUS Atlantic Scattering 
 $2,690

This package combines our affordable, high-quality direct cremation service with the elegant option of scattering your loved one's ashes at sea. The scattering will be arranged by a fully licensed Coast Guard Master Captain and you will recieve a certificate commemorating the location and time of the scattering. 

This Package Includes:
  • Transfer from the place of death to the funeral home within New York’s five boroughs, Nassau and Western Suffolk. 
  • Basic services of the funeral director and staff, filing necessary authorizations, securing the death certificate and obtaining certified copies
  • Service vehicle to the crematory
  • Cardboard alternative container (Items 1-4 total $1,835.00)
  • Crematory charges (L. I. Cremation Co. W. Babylon, N.Y., $560.00)
  • Atlantic Sea Scattering ($295.00)

If you select another crematory, the charges will be adjusted accordingly. A handsome certificate, suitable for framing and commemorating the date and location of the scattering, will be provided.

Our Basic Direct Cremation Package PLUS Pacific (Maui) Scattering $2,855

This package offers sea scattering as above, but goes farther to scatter the ashes in the clear blue waters of the central Pacific Ocean off the coast of Maui, Hawaii. 

This Package Includes:
  • Transfer from the place of death to the funeral home within New York’s five boroughs, Nassau and Western Suffolk. 
  • Basic services of the funeral director and staff, filing necessary authorizations, securing the death certificate and obtaining certified copies
  • Service vehicle to the crematory
  • Cardboard alternative container (Items 1-4 total $1,835.00)
  • Crematory charges (L. I. Cremation Co. W. Babylon, N.Y. $560.00)
  • Mailing of the cremated remains ($65.00 plus postage)
  • Pacific ocean scattering ($395.00)

If you select another crematory, the charges will be adjusted accordingly. A handsome certificate, suitable for framing and commemorating the date and location of the scattering, will be provided.

Our Basic Direct Cremation Package PLUS cultured marble urn, urn name plate and 50 memorial cards 
 $2,958

If you choose to inter the cremation ashes in a cemetery colombarium, mausoleum or display them in a promenent place, this package is an excellent choice. If you own cemetery property, you can inter the cremated remains in a family plot. It's worth inquiring with the cemetery to see if you need a cremation vault, which can be acquired at additional cost. If you do not own cemetery property, you can expect to pay between $800 and $5,000 in greater NYC cemeteries for a space for the urn.
